About

Hello again. My name is Jennifer Wang. I am a sixteen-year-old full-time student with a passion for web design. I work in (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, mySQL, Java, Linux, Photoshop, vim, and Dreamweaver and am also familiar with designing for various content management systems, including Wordpress and Tron.

I first ventured into web design at the age of eight. At the time, to me, computers were a source of games and Y2K was some new kind of ladybug. Then, coming across Webmonkey for Kids, I began digesting tutorials one-by-one as part of a desire to make my own Barbie.com. Sadly, this dream was never realized.

As I entered middle school, I was fortunate enough to have Ronald Poker as a computer science teacher. Under his guidance, in a two person team, I designed my school's web site in seventh grade. At the same time, I fell in love with the world of digital art. From then on, I was hooked, even as I watched my friends cast aside web design for more challenging programming languages.

Web design is beautiful. It brings together data, functionality, and art. Too often, we have programmers who cannot design. Too often, the designers are not interested in programming.

Sagefuse.com was created in August 2007. This design is valid XHTML 1.0 Strict.
